Designed for outdoor activities, this lightweight and flexible softshell from 5.11 features water resistance, breathability and thermal insulation.
Softshells are popular among skiers, snowboarders, climbers, hikers, runners and others who value comfort, protection and lightweight clothes during outdoor activities. Due to their versatility and durability, softshells are also used for everyday use and as an alternative to traditional jackets and coats.
3-layer construction :
- Outer layer - polyester material that protects against rain, wind and cold.
- The inner layer - that's a soft and pleasant to the touch lining, which provides protection from the cold, as well as comfort. The Valiant model uses microfleece as the lining, which is placed on the entire length. In some different versions, the fleece was not covered in the neck area, resulting in cold feeling in this area, so the Valiant fix this problem.
- Pockets are lined with tricot to keep hands warm.
An important feature that the Valiant model is equipped with is the ability to transform the jacket into a vest, using YKK wind- and water-resistant zippers. This solution allows you to adjust the jacket to the weather conditions. On sunny, windless days, wearing as a sleeveless jacket can be a much more practical solution, while on windy and rainy days the full softshell option is best.

Pockets :
- Hand pockets on both sides, zippered with additional cords for comfort. The hand pockets use guards at the top to prevent water entry, while inside the left pocket there is a carabiner for attaching keys.

- An internal open pocket on the right side.
