This panel provides Class IV ballistic protection certified with NIJ 0101.06, which provides protection even against rifle bullets and also some anti-tank bullets such as:
7.62x51 NATO, M80 (NIJ level 3 0101.06)
7.62x39 MSC, AK47
5.56x45 NATO, SS109/M855
7.62x63 AP / .30-06 Springfield (NIJ level 4 0101.06)
The Protection Group Ballistic Plate is a Standalone insert - which means that it provides ballistic protection on its own and does not require additional soft inserts.
A special Anti-Back Face Signature insert is placed on the inside of the plate to prevent deformation and internal damage of the chest.
Made of monolithic ceramic (AI203), which provides a larger area cover than standard ceramic plate technology.
External waterproof Cordura material is resistant to liquids and temperature. The edges of the insert are covered with shock-absorbing foam to prevent damage to the ceramic when it falls.
