CZ 457 Varmint Match System MTR 20" 1/2x28 Cal. 22LR Rifle (Barrel with Chamber and Slide)
Pure small-bore precision. The CZ 457 Varmint Match MTR System is a kit for shooters who want to build or upgrade a rifle based on the CZ 457 platform, one of the most highly regarded designs in the .22LR caliber. The kit includes a barrel with chamber and a slide, the heart of the rifle, crucial for its accuracy.
Barrel
The heavy Varmint profile reduces flex and vibration, improving shot-to-shot consistency.
The 1/2x28 thread allows for the installation of a silencer or muzzle brake.
Cold forging ensures a uniform steel structure and durability.
.22LR caliber: low ammunition cost, minimal recoil, and high versatility. Bolt and Chamber
The bolt is designed to complement the CZ 457 and ensures smooth, reliable operation.
A precisely machined chamber supports stable cartridge feed.
The system is ready for installation in a compatible stock.
Build a rifle just for you
The greatest advantage of the CZ 457 Varmint Match MTR system is the freedom it offers in terms of customization. By purchasing the system alone—the barrel, chamber, and bolt—you decide how the finished rifle will look and feel. You don't have to compromise on the stock's stock dimensions. You can choose a stock that perfectly suits your shooting style, build, and discipline. Do you want a classic wooden stock with timeless lines? Or perhaps a modern aluminum stock with an adjustable stock, cheek rest, and accessory rail? The market offers a huge selection of solutions, from lightweight sporting stocks to massive designs for prone shooting. This allows you to adjust the grip length, cheekpiece height, overall weight, and balance point. These details translate into comfort, positional stability, and ultimately, results on the target. The CZ 457 platform is extremely popular with accessory manufacturers, so you can easily add a trigger, magazines, mounting rails, bipods, and other accessories. You can expand this setup in stages, swapping components as your skills grow, and building a rifle that's truly yours. This is a solution for shooters who value a personalized approach and want to have real influence on every aspect of their firearm.
Why is it worth it?
Proven CZ 457 platform with a wide selection of accessories
