DAA Alpha-XiP Pouch - Black
The Alpha-XiP pouch from DAA is a cheaper version of the flagship DAA Alpha-Xi pouch. The difference lies in the use of polymer instead of aluminum. Apart from the material, the pouches are identical.
The polymer used in the production of Alpha-XiP is reinforced glass fiber PA66, which is very durable. It allows the use of the same mounting system (ball hinge) to the belt as in the aluminum pouch. This makes it easy to adjust the perfect position of the pouches relative to the shooter.
The polymer housing of the pouch is not only cheaper than the aluminum one but also will not scratch as easily as its metal counterpart.
The Alpha XiP pouch offers as many as 8 mounting points to choose from:
- Three for right-handed shooters, differing in height.
- Three for left-handed shooters, differing in height.
- Two for mounting the pouch sideways, differing in height.
All 8 points also have a milled area for a plate, ensuring that the tightened pouch will not move in any direction.
The Alpha-XiP pistol pouch uses spacer inserts that are tailored to the magazines of specific types.
Magnet
The DAA magnet is a simple and effective solution for DAA Alpha-Xi/X and Race Master pouches, allowing for quick retrieval of magazines from the table when starting with an unloaded weapon.
Some competitors also use magnets when unloading their weapons for convenient magazine placement.
