This is my second Lantac Dragon compensator. The first one is used with 7.62 AK and offers great improvement in terms of tightening the point of impact grouping and reducing both recoil and muzzle rise. This 9mm Dragon is used with H&K SP5 IPSC race gun, which is a very controllable and flat-shotting gun anyway. Thanks to the roller-delayed system the recoil impulse is minimal and I was a bit sceptic about what improvement to expect. I was even prepared for a possible worsening of the muzzle movement. The Dragon didn't disappoint me again. If the SP5 was controllable before, after the installation and proper adjustment of the port direction of the compensator, the grouping of rapid-fire shots at 10 meters target shrunk in half or even close to 1/3 of the previous size. I am very happy with the little Dragon and would highly recommend it even to people who believe 9mm caliber doesn't need compensation. |
