Maskpol tactical vest, version in the unique MAPA camouflage, made of durable Cordura 770. The vest will work well in tactical training, in survival, in ASG. Although intended for the civilian market, it will also be appreciated by professionals from uniformed services.
Thanks to the use of laser-cut MOLLE mounts on the front and back of the vest , it is possible to arrange pouches and trays according to the shooter's preferences. Side cummerbund modules with adjustable circumference were also covered with MOLLE / PALS tapes .
was designed by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a research worker at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, author of, among others publication Theory of deconstruction of visual message. Military camouflage design tools (Gdańsk 2015).The innovative project, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, drew the attention of specialists and manufacturers of military clothing. In 2017, the MAPA camouflage made its debut at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce as a camouflage pattern of the Dromader gear and uniform system by Maskpol, a part of the Polish Armaments Group. The system was designed for soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces, but the MAPA camouflage itself was also considered as a perspective model for the entire Polish Armed Forces, where it could replace the wz.93 camouflage. Unfortunately, the MAPA camouflage has not yet been implemented as the official camouflage pattern of the
Polish Army.
The most important features of the MAPA camouflage in the basic forest variant:
- 6 colors forming layers resembling contour lines on a map
- colors optimized for activities in the forests of Central Europe
- the use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and the effect of cartogram
- biomorphic shapes resembling vegetation
- high contrast elements imitating blinks of light and shadows
- deformation of the masked figure using a macro pattern
- color noise reproduced by means of a micro-pattern
The TM01 vest uses durable ROC 40 and ROC80 quick-release buckles. At the front of the vest, at the height of the chest, there is a velcro panel that allows the installation of emblems.
The vest is fitted to the body by means of adjustable Velcro straps on the shoulders. The comfortpads on the shoulders are equipped with a spacer mesh ensuring adequate comfort of use and adequate ventilation.
The dedicated vest pockets can be placed up to four ballistic SAPI size S, M or L .
