Silent Steel Mini Streamer is an innovative bang suppressor created by the renowned manufacturer from Finland, Silent Steel. Designed for .22LR gun enthusiasts, it works exclusively with rigidly mounted barrels. With the black color, it gives it a stylish look, and the 1/2x28 UNEF thread ensures easy assembly and disassembly.
What makes the Silent Steel Mini Streamer different is its modular design, which allows you to adjust the length, weight and level of suppression. Made up of eight segments, it reaches a total length of 170 mm. The diameter of the suppressor is 34 mm, and its weight is only 190 g. Made of high-quality 7075 aluminum and coated with black anodizing, it combines durability with elegant design.
The package includes a fabric case for transport.
Manufacturer's Tests
The manufacturer conducted tests using professional equipment - a Norsonic 131 Class 1 sound level meter and a Gras 1/4" microphone. The average noise reduction ranges from 25 to 35 dB, though it's important to note that barrel length and ammunition type can affect suppression levels.
Testing conducted by the manufacturer on a Ruger Mark II pistol revealed the following:
Using SK Standard Ammo
- Without suppressor: 152 dB
- With 4 baffles: 132 dB
- With 6 baffles: 127 dB
- With 7 baffles: 125 dB
- With 8 baffles: 116 dB
Using CCI Blazer ammunition and 8 baffles achieved a result of 120 dB.
Eley Subsonic ammunition and 8 baffles yielded a result of 118 dB.
