B&T 2-chamber Compensator M.A.R.S. 5/8"-24 UNEF cal. .308 Win is a high-quality steel (QPQ nitrided finish) muzzle brake-compensator dedicated to rifles chambered in .308 Win (7.62×51 mm NATO) with a 5/8"-24 UNEF thread (AR-10, SCAR-H standard, and many others). It effectively reduces recoil and muzzle rise by redirecting the gases sideways, improving control and speed of target reacquisition during dynamic shooting, and the QD system allows for instant mounting of suppressors and devices from the M.A.R.S. series without tools. It weighs about 140 g.
