Designed for outdoor activities, this lightweight and flexible softshell from 5.11 features 8K water resistance, 5K breathability and thermal insulation. These values provide safe protection against rain and wind, while allowing the moisture to wick away from the body during increased activity.
Softshells are popular among skiers, snowboarders, climbers, hikers, runners and others who value comfort, protection and lightweight clothes during outdoor activities. Due to their versatility and durability, softshells are also used for everyday use and as an alternative to traditional jackets and coats.
Nevada's outer material is a combination of 82% nylon and 18% elestane with a waterproof finish. Interior is lined with microfleece (97% polyester; 3% elestane), which protects against wind and cold. The inner inserts of mesh tricot (100% polyester) applied over the fleece in the pockets and on the front of the jacket work as a storm flap. This tricot was mechanically brushed, where fine metal brushes carefully scrub the material. The final brushed tricot is pleasant to the touch and does not irritate the skin.

- A drawstring system that adjusts the jacket from the bottom, as well as elastic Velcro-fastened cuffs, are responsible for sealing/adjusting the jacket to prevent outside air from passing through.
