Platypus - Platypus - is one of the newest projects by Steath Arms. The model represents a group of pistols from the 1911 family powered by double-stack magazines. The main distinguishing feature of the Platypus is the ability to use magazines in the Glock standard. The pistol frame has been redesigned, the magazine well widened, but the manufacturer managed to achieve these changes while maintaining the original, comfortable grip angle of the 1911.

Manufacturing and processing of all parts/components takes place on-site at the Stealth Arms facility in Ohio, allowing the manufacturer full control over pistol construction at every stage and independence from external subcontractors.

Platypus CUSTOM is not a product, it is an option that allows you to create a pistol that, besides phenomenal performance on the range, will also boast character. No more compromises. Create your own pistol, based on the design of the 1911, valued for decades. Designed by you, hand-assembled by experienced gunsmiths.

Options and Color Scheme

The configurator available on the manufacturer's website allows a wide range of modifications to our pistol. Starting from barrel length, slide style, grip texture, accessory rail, or funnel, to the color scheme of each component. We have over 170 Cerakote paint shades to choose from.

Thanks to such a wide range of available colors, we have the possibility to fully customize the pistol to ourselves. The number of parts available for modification is also impressive. The pistol itself is a hand-assembled construction by experienced personnel from the highest quality materials such as carbon steel, 416R stainless steel, 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum, among others.

Step by step:

1. Go to the manufacturer's website: https://www.stealtharms.net/
2. Click the "BUILD A PLATYPUS" button
3. Click the "CUSTOMIZE" button, you can choose any of the available models on the site as a base.
4. When finished, click the "DONE" button
5. The finished design will appear in the middle tab "YOUR DESIGNS" where you will have the option to copy the link to your build.
