DAA Max Holster - Black - Glock

The Max Holster is the result of many years of experience in IPSC/USPSA and over a year of development work — DAA has created a closed-body design that meets the legal requirements of competition while providing great flexibility in adjustment and reliability during dynamic use. The holster is made from an injection-molded body that does not clamp onto the pistol — instead, retention is provided by spring-loaded, adjustable roller-clippers that grip the front of the trigger guard. This solution minimizes wear on the firearm's surface and offers a wide range of retention force adjustment.

The holster hanger is made of aluminum and steel components, and the central ball-joint moves along steel rods — this allows for quick and precise adjustment of height, angle (cant), and rotation of the holster, so it can be perfectly tailored to the individual grip and style of the shooter. The product is designed for mounting on 1.5″ (≈38 mm) competition belts.

The Glock version has been modeled for the G34 Gen-5, and the manufacturer claims it works well with most Glocks (including Glock 17 and MOS 41). At the same time, DAA clearly states that it is not compatible with Glocks with wider slides — examples include the G21/G22 models. When choosing the holster version, we recommend checking compatibility with the specific model before purchase.

Key Features
• Closed-body design intended for IPSC/USPSA competitions.
• Retention through spring-loaded roller-clippers, adjustable (not by clamping the body).
• Hanger made of aluminum and steel; central ball-joint on steel rods — height, angle, and rotation adjustment.
• Glock model: designed for G34 Gen-5; compatible with most Glocks, but not with wide slides (e.g., G21/G22).
• Designed for 1.5″ competition belts.

Installation and Adjustment:
1. Attach the holster to the competition belt (1.5″). Ensure that the hanger is properly secured and the screws are tightened.
2. Set the height by moving the central ball-joint along the steel rods — find the position where the grip and finger on the trigger align naturally.
3. Adjust the cant/rotation using the ball-joint until the grip of the firearm is repeatable and ergonomic.
4. Retention adjustment: use the screws/roller mechanism to set the retention force — the manufacturer recommends checking the setting during dry-fire practice.

Maintenance and Practical Notes:
• Clean the body with a soft damp cloth; avoid aggressive solvents (to prevent damaging the coating).
• Regularly check the screws and hanger attachments; aluminum and steel components ensure durability but require periodic inspection.
• Due to the retention design (roller-clippers), direct wear on the slide/firearm is minimized compared to holsters that "clamp" the body.

Safety and Compatibility:
• Before purchasing, check compatibility with the specific Glock model — especially if you have a version with an unusual, wider slide (e.g., G21/G22) — these models may not fit.
• The holster is a firearm accessory — remember the safety rules: practice drawing only dry.
