Sellier & Bellot SP is a semi-shell bullet, consisting of a lead core and a metal jacket. The core on the top is not shielded, so it is easily deformed (mushrooming) when hitting the target. The SP bullet is used in most of the cartridges offered by S&B and is recommended for hunting predators.
